Free Group Exercise Classes for Employees

Virginia Tech employees are invited to enjoy a free group exercise class every wednesday from 12:15-1PM! Class styles vary weekly and are subject to change. To view class schedules, visit our group exercise webpage.

  • One class weekly on Wednesdays from 12:15-1PM
  • No membership or group ex pass is required to participate

Women's Golf Clinics

Our ladies clinic will cover golf basics (putting and chipping), half-swings with irons, full swings, and wood clubs and swings instruction.

Free Beginner Golf Clinics for Employees

This golf clinic will provide an introduction to short game, chipping and putting. It is intended to be beginner-friendly and is open to Virginia Tech employees.

Battleship with SECL

Join Rec Sports and Student Engagement and Campus Life for an evening of live Battleship. Teams of three jump in a canoe at the McComas pool and use two-gallon buckets to throw water in their opponent’s boats until they capsize! Come with a team of three or be placed on a team upon arrival.

Women's Golf Social League

The Virginia Tech Golf Course is excited to host a weekly women's golf social league throughout the month of May. The league plays weekly on Mondays with tee times from 5-6PM.

Sunset/Live Music Yoga

Enjoy a fusion of fresh air, yoga, and live music, by Amelia Empson! Bring your own Yoga mat or towel, Rec Sports will have a few for participants to borrow.

  • Free to students and employees. No pre-registration is required

2-Week Running Programs

We're excited to share two running programs that will get you off the couch and ready to enjoy running! Beginner and intermediate programs are offered and provide a 14-day training schedule to work up to running a 5K.

Hokie Fit Online Training

A free 2-week training program that includes a workout plan and tutorial videos for each workout.

Virtual Group Exercise Membership

Virginia Tech students and employees can purchase a membership that grants live-stream access to group exercise classes.
