3.2-Mile Run in Remembrance

The event will commence at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026 with a moment of silence to honor and remember the 32 students and faculty whose vibrant lives were tragically lost in 2007.

The event's 3.2-mile loop around the Blacksburg campus begins in front of War Memorial Hall, passing iconic landmarks such as The Grove, Lane Stadium, and the Virginia Tech Pylons, before concluding at the April 16 Memorial.

For those unable to attend in person, virtual participation is also available. Virtual participants are encouraged to move in a way that is meaningful to them and share their experiences by posting photos with the hashtag #VT32Run on Instagram and X.

Additional updates, encouragement, and communication will be shared through the event's Facebook page.
