Class Descriptions
We offer over 100 classes a week - everything from barre and spin to yoga and BODYPUMP™. We're sure you'll find a class you love that works with your schedule.
Keep an eye out for Free Week of Fitness at the beginning of each semester and during exam weeks at the end of the semester.
Barre - Barre is a fusion of fitness and dance. This format uses ballet moves and other exercises to help you get a well-rounded dance inspired strengthening workout! Category: Strength + sculpting
BODYPUMP™ - BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups one song at a time by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Category: Strength + sculpting, Les Mills
Cardio Dance - Cardio dance is a 45 minute dance-fitness party that evolved from a classic Zumba structure to feature fun dance choreography set to today's Top Hits. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating! Category: Cardio, dance
Quick CORE - Core Conditioning is a 30-minute class focused on strengthening your entire core including abs, obliques and lower back! This class uses different exercises, equipment, and techniques to sculpt your core and improve balance and coordination. Category: Strength + sculpting
Cycle - Cycle is the ultimate indoor cycle workout where you do intervals, climb hills, and sprint just like a real bike ride. Have fun with this intense workout that is sure to get your heart pumping and legs burning. Variations with music include Club Cycle (EDM music) and Hip Hop Cycle. Category: Cardio, cycling
Cycle & - Cycle & is a 45 minute fitness class that begins with a 30-minute cycle workout followed by 15 minutes of strength or mind body-based exercise, making this class a great total body workout. Offerings vary by semester and can include: Cycle & Core, Cycle & Arms, Cycle & Yoga, Cycle & Barre. Category: Cardio, cycling, strength + sculpting
F45- F45 is a global fitness community specializing in innovative, high-intensity group workouts that are fast, fun, and results-driven. The "F" stands for functional training, a mix of circuit and HIIT style workouts geared towards everyday movement. "45" is the total amount of time for sweat-dripping, heart-pumping fun.
Full Body Basics - Full Body Basics is a 45-minute class that spends an equal amount of time performing cardio and muscle conditioning exercises to the beat of the music. This is a great class for beginners, but experienced exercisers will be challenged as well.
GRIT™ - The Les Mills GRIT™ Series is a fitness program that takes cutting edge High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder. GRIT™ sessions alternate between three different workouts – strength (using weights), plyo (jumping exercises), and cardio (body weight exercises). Category: Cardio, speed + agility, Les Mills
LES MILLS CORE - LES MILLS CORE is a 30-minute core workout that uses resistance tubes, weight plates, and body weight exercises (like crunches and hovers). It also includes some hip, butt, and lower back exercises. Category: Strength + sculpting, Les Mills
Pilates - Pilates will help focus your mind and body. Classes focus on stretching and elongating your spine while strengthening your core. Build strength, flexibility, stability, balance, and coordination with mat series, stretching, and other exercises in this class! Pilates is a great way to get your workout in while you unwind from a long day! Category: Mind + body, strength + sculpting
Pilates Sculpt- If you love traditional mat Pilates, but have always wanted to add a bit more intensity this is the format for you. Using a variety of weights (2-8lbs) to add load to traditional Pilates movements you will get all the posture benefits of Pilates you are used to while simultaneously working to stregthen all areas of the body, especially the core.
POP Pilates® - POP Pilates® is an incredible fusion of ab-chiseling and total body defining moves choreographed to upbeat pop songs. This intense, mat-based workout challenges participants to rhythmically flow from one exercise to the next, developing a solid core while leaving no muscle untouched. This format takes classical Pilates to the next level like you’ve never seen before. Category: Mind + body, strength + sculpting
Power Yoga - Power Yoga is a faster, strength-based yoga class. This class will flow through a variety of poses and will have your HR elevated throughout the entire class. Category: Mind + body
Power Vinyasa- This class offers an energetic quick flowing approach to yoga. This class will help you build your strength and help to build your flexibility through a dynamic mix of postures. All levels are welcome. Category: Mind + body + strength
Vinyasa Flow- Linking breath with movement this class will help you build strength and endurance throughout your entire body. You will flow through traditional sun salutations and standing postures. Accompanied by strong sequences to challenge balance and flexibility throughout the body.
Yoga - Yoga is a mind/body class that introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by breath. Yoga classes are for everyone, from beginners to advanced Yogis, and are taught in a variety of forms.
Yogalates - Yogalates is a fusion of Yoga and Pilates. Functional movement is at the center of this class and takes exercises from both formats for a workout that will leave you feeling stronger and refreshed.
Yoga & Meditation - Yoga & Meditation is a complete mind/body experience. With a portion of the class dedicated to mindful movement, and another portion dedicated to intentionally tuning into the breath and body through meditation, this class will leave you clear minded and relaxed.
