Swim the States
Get ready for the ultimate swim challenge this semester! Swim the States is back, and this year, we’re taking you on an exciting tour of iconic Major League Baseball stadiums across the U.S.
From January 21st through Reading Day (May 8th), participants will "swim" their way from one iconic MLB stadium to the next—virtually, of course—racking up miles and hitting milestones along the way. Each swimmer will aim to reach a new checkpoint by a set date, with the final destination being Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
How it Works
- Tour Iconic MLB Stadiums: Swim your way through famous U.S. college towns and sports cities, tracking your progress as you go.
- Checkpoint Challenges: Every two weeks, you’ll reach a new milestone, with each checkpoint representing a distance that will take you closer to Dodger Stadium.
- Track Your Progress: Each participant will swim the equivalent miles needed to reach their next checkpoint, logging their swims and seeing how they stack up with others in this fun, friendly competition.
Why Join?
- Stay Active: It’s the perfect way to stay motivated and active throughout the semester.
- Virtual Challenge: You don’t have to leave campus to experience this national adventure!
- Celebrate Milestones: Every new checkpoint is an achievement. Will you make it to Dodger Stadium by the final day of classes?
