Maps and Obstacles
The Corps of Cadets invites you to follow in the footsteps of students and cadets who came 150 years ago as you are physically and mentally pushed to find your limit. Challenge yourself and help celebrate the legacy of Hokie Nation and the 50th anniversary of Women in the Corps of Cadets.
As one of the 6 Senior Military Schools including the 4 Service Academies (West Point, Annapolis, USAFA, Coast Guard Academy), Virginia Tech was the first of all these schools to accept women into the ranks as a Cadet in 1973. Ut Prosim “That I May Serve” espouses our University’s proud history of service to the Commonwealth and the Nation. Each station in this years race will have a historical significance that will allow you to relive parts of the university you might have never otherwise known.
