Venture Out

We live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. Outdoor recreation is an excellent way to see the area, explore, and be active. Our outdoor recreation program is called Venture Out and provides fun, exciting, and educational outdoor services to students, faculty, staff, and the greater Hokie community.

The Venture Out Challenge Course, a part of Recreational Sports, is a state-of-the-art high ropes challenge course that recently opened in Fall 2018. The course is located behind the Marching Virginian Practice Field and the Sport Clubs fields and can be seen from the Huckleberry Trail. Activities will be open to Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and students as well as off-campus groups, non-profits, birthday parties, and corporate groups.
